Born On 12-1-18, Lena is still very much a pup. She's very timid when it comes to meeting new people, but she loves to play with other dogs and she doesn't even mind the cats. She is learning to walk on a leash but it's still in the early stages. Do to her nature, a fenced yard is required for anyone who wants to adopt. She loves to play with toys and chew on Bones and loves to play tug-of-war with the other dogs. Lena's currently in a foster home and if you would like more information on her or would like to visit her, please call or text her foster family at 417-718-5721. You can also email jenzme@ymail.com. An adoption donation of $125 will help cover some of her medical costs which include her spay, all vaccinations, heartworm and flea and tick preventative, a microchip with free registration, and deworming.

  • Black Labrador Retriever, Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler
  • Spayed/Neutered
This beautiful little girl showed up in a rural area starved and scared. Her foster mom noticed that she seemed to have trouble getting up and down and xrays showed that she had a broken pelvis! She is doing very well and on joint supplements and will be get xrays again in December to determine how far in the healing process she is and if any surgery is needed. If a match is found, she can go as a foster-to-adopt until a decision is made about any further treatment. She will probably be looking for a home with a limited number of steps. We guess her to be born about Sep 2018 and is only 40 lb. She does well in a crate at bedtime, goes potty on a leash, is good with cats and other dogs. She is a sweet, gentle dog who likes to have a nice selection of chew toys. Contact this animals foster home at petfinder.pchs@gmail.com or text or leave a message at 573-512-2102. The adoption donation of $120.00 covers spay / neuter, vaccinations, microchip with lifetime registration, deworming, negative heartworm test, and current monthly heartworm and flea and tick prevention. • French Bulldog, Rottweiler
  • Spayed/Neutered
This loving, hilarious, fun boy spent the last couple years outside because his owner moved and gave him to someone that couldn't care for him. He was in sad shape from untreated fleas and ticks, lack of food, or proper living conditions. He is now healed and is so ready for a loving, warm home with a cushy sofa so he can curl up and sleep. He has made huge strides learning that he will have food twice a day and doesn't have to fight for every bite though it is recommended he be fed in a separate area from other dogs because he will eat anything and everything. He is working on sitting and making eye contact before starting to eating. He does pretty well on leash and great with a doggie door though if not free access to outside would recommend using a wrap until he is on a schedule. He is good with most dogs male and female and was with loose cats and kittens where he came from. • Black Labrador Retriever, Newfoundland Dog
  • Spayed/Neutered
This gorgeous boy was born to yet another dog not fixed and then basically lived on his own going house to house for the first 7-8 months of his life finding food. He was skinny, loaded in fleas and ticks, but otherwise surprisingly healthy. He is a handful sometimes mostly from being so deprived of attention but very sweet and now is calm down quite a bit and ready to go to a forever home. He has made huge strides learning that he will have food twice a day and doesn't have to fight for every bite though it is recommended he be fed in a separate area from other dogs because he will eat anything and everything. He now sits and makes eye contact and will actually wait a few seconds to start eating. He does pretty well on leash though he doesn't get out much for actual walks and does great with a doggie door. He is good with most dogs male and female and was with loose cats and kittens where he came from. He will benefit from a good exercise routine and a home with 5-10 acres where he can run from time to time would be great. He is guessed to be a black labrador retriever and border collie ? or Newfoundland ? mix. • Boxer, Black Labrador Retriever
  • Spayed/Neutered
Lili Langtree is a gorgeous, sweet, little girl, who had only known one individual and had never been touched by a human before coming to her foster home. She loves to play with other dogs and has very slowly been warming up to her foster mom. She will come in and out of the house when called and will walk on leash timidly but enjoys it with other dogs though not recommended as her primary means of going potty or enjoying the outdoors because she is a flight risk if loose. Hopefully once she gets into an actual home with someone patient and willing to teach her what it is to be part of the family she will quickly learn to trust. She is more fearful than her sister or brother were, but they are now both in homes and doing great. She has never been around children and doesn't seem to pay too much attention to the couple of cats she sees around her pen during the day. Her mom is a black lab, and it looks like her dad was probably Boxer. Because she will not come to anyone outside of a house and would be an extreme flight risk if she got loose and possibly not able to be trapped, she is looking for a family that owns their home with a yard fence attached to the house and has another well-adjusted dog-friendly dog in the home. She needs the other dog to help her feel comfortable and to learn the routine. She has never been around children, and because of her timid nature do better with children 7 and over that can understand her boundaries if needed. Ruger has had a very rough past. When he came to us, he had to be hospitalized immediately: He had two gun shot wounds to his head, and one through the chest. He barely pulled through, and due to this we cannot blame him for being cautious with people he does not know. He is about 1-1.5 years old, seems to be a purebred Blue Heeler. He needs a very special family who will work with him through his trust issues with strangers. He will bond with his family, but will get defensive quickly if strangers approach too quickly. For this reason, we are looking for a home without children for him. If you are interested in Ruger, please email us at lovingpawsadoptioncenter@gmail.com. His adoption fee of $120 includes neuter, negative heartworm test, microchip, flea and tick prevention and dewormer. He is currently in a foster home and meet and greets can be scheduled at your convenience!

This big snuggle bug has come a long way since being found. He was skinny and loaded in ticks and fleas and is guessed to have been born about May 2018. He now trusts that he will have food 2 times a day, is doing well at being in a crate at night, though no room for him to stay in the house during the day seems to be housebroke, loves to ride in a vehicle, will jump out a 4-ft fence, is doing well on-leash, is working hard at trying to sit without wiggling, and has endless love to give. He needs to be fed separately because he is very food protective. His adoption donation of $120.00 covers her vetting, including neuter, vaccinations, microchip with lifetime registration, deworming, negative heartworm test and heartworm prevention.
